Draper manufacturing company has recently introduced an advanced model of battery charger and it has been named as Draper 66800 12V Automatic Battery
Charger. The charger will be suitable for both home use and workshop. A unique benefit of using the device is the automatic revert of safe trickle charging mode. If you put a fully charged battery unknowingly to charge, it will automatically revert to safe trickle mode to maintain the battery life.
Manufacturer has designed the unit with 8A charging setting. You can use 4 distinct essential features by using the unit namely:
• LED battery condition tester
• LED charging status display
• ± polarity inversion protection
• Thermal overload safety protection
Battery clips are important for connecting the battery with the unit which has been made of insulated copper leads. Users can charge only conventional and lead acid batteries. Highest charging output of the device has been measured as 12 volts which requires power utilization up to 230 volts in single phase.
Charging will be fast as it follows just one procedure. Effective charging current has been measured as 8A and average charging current has been measured as EN60335 5.5A.
