This product has made by the manufacturer to support only Lithium Ion technology. It is essential to provide electricity from 110 to 240 volts by using an adapter. This device can offer power output from 4.2 to 8.4 volts. The product includes an added advantage of turbo charger. Manufacturer offers an AC Universal Power Adapter and 12.00V Car Cord with the package.
Nikon Battery Charger has been available in the market with LED which is needed for indicating the status of charging. The status will be differentiated by using distinct colours like red or green. The charging time will vary on the basis of capacity of the battery like:
• When a battery has the capacity from 650 to 900 mAh, it takes 1.5 to 2 hours for charging.
• If you use a battery with the capacity from 1200 to 1400 mAh, it may take 2.5 to 3 hours.
• While you charge a battery which has capacity more than 1400 mAh but less than 1800 mAh, it will take 4 hours definitely.
