PowerSmart Rapid Battery Charger restores the battery life with effective charging performance. The batteries are powered in such a way that you get unhindered performance from them. This battery charger takes care of the batteries in an effective manner and increases the life span too. The unit is engineered to deliver optimum performance, convenient use and better charging options.
This battery charger is best suited to charge NiCad/NiMH AA/AAA batteries. Proper charge levels of the batteries are monitored with the availability of LCD display for each battery. It also verifies if the batteries are defective or not and informs the user about it. The unit is equipped with advanced battery charging technology like microprocessor-controlled Negative Delta V with overcharge protection. In case of over flow of current or voltage, the batteries are safeguarded against it. Apart from that, it protects the batteries from overheating.
Along with PowerSmart Rapid 12V Battery Charger, a vehicle/car charger and 4 x AA 2400mAh NiMh batteries are included. Other than that, the pack consists of an AAA battery case and AC Power Adapter. Rapid charging option is featured, with which you can charge the batteries within 1 to 2 hours. The device can charge AA (2400mAh) in130 minutes, AA (1800mAh) in 90 minutes, AAA (850mAh) in 70 minutes and AAA (650mAh) in 60 minutes.
Depending upon the charging capacity and conditions, the time needed for charging varies. It requires an Input power of 12V, 1.5A and output power of 1.5V~6V DC 1.6A for AA and 0.8A for AAA batteries. Trickle charge current is 0.09A (+/- 0.01A). It supports 1 to 4 AA/AAA batteries. Powerful charging of the batteries is made possible with this efficient battery charger.
