Sony AC-VQL1BP 4- Battery Charger offers seamless 
performance and extended protection to batteries. It is built with measurements of 220 x 61 x 155mms and weighs 770gms. This unit comes with two selectable charging modes which includes full charge mode charging up to 100% of battery capacity and normal charge mode which offers 90% charging. With the normal charging mode, the batteries are charged up to 90% and you can save about 60 minutes.
The provided 2 LCD display shows the charging status and gives exact time and minutes for current available time for shooting, remaining time to complete a normal charge and remaining time to complete a full charge. When the battery is attached to the charger, information regarding the batteries is available like total charging time, total number of charging cycles and month and year of last use.
This battery charger is capable of powering two camcorders at the same time. It can even power one camcorder and recharge one battery all at once. Power requirements are 100-240V and 50/60Hz. The voltage provided is 8.4V and maximum electric current consumed is 2.3 A. In order to charge 2 batteries, the unit takes 3.7hrs in normal mode, 4.7hrs in full mode. On the other hand if it wants to charge 4 batteries, it will require 7.3hrs in normal mode and 9.3 hrs in full mode.
